I am lucky enough to have been a designer / artist for most of my adult life. I have always had a passion for fabric crafts and for quite a few years produced paintings, mainly of flowers, on pieces of silk using dyes. My main passion has always been cross stitching however and a couple of years ago I took the plunge and set up Country Cross Stitch Kits. The rest, as they say, is history and here I am still adding new designs and trying to build my business. FREE Cross Stitch Pattern - 'Happy easter - Cross Stitch Chick'

Hello all,

Here is another free cross stitch pattern for all of my blog readers.


The pattern is 3.4" x 2.4" (when stitched on 14 / 28 count fabric) and uses 4 colours. As with all our patterns it contains:


  • Cross stitch chart


  • Separate back stitch chart


  • Printed thread organiser


  • List of threads required with both DMC and Anchor numbers


  • List of thread lengths and finished sizes when stitched on 11/22, 14/28, 16/32 and 18/36 count fabrics


  • Colour picture of finished design


  • Full cross stitching instructions
